Wike And Atiku’s Reconciliation Is For National Interest

The PDP House of Representatives Aspirants Forum (RAF) has said the ongoing reconciliation meeting between the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar and the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, is in the interest of the nation.

Naija News reports that Atiku and Wike issues began after the party’s presidential primaries and got worse after the PDP flag bearer chose Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.

The group, in a statement by its Chairman, Hon. Muhammad Danjuma (Garkuwa babba) over the weekend, insisted that it is necessary for the duo to bury the hatchet in order to end the sufferings and the dangers imposed on Nigerians by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

RAF urged the politicians to demonstrate their known principle of subjecting personal or group interests to national interest.
