Kemi Olunloyo Makes Claim About Aisha Buhari, Goodluck Jonathan

Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that Nigeria’s first lady, Aisha Buhari dolled out millions of Naira to influencers in 2015 to ensure that her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari oust former president Goodluck Jonathan.

Naija News recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after collating results from the 2015 presidential election, announced that All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Buhari won the poll ahead of Jonathan who seek reelection on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Seven years have passed since the event and Olunloyo via her verified Twitter handle on Saturday, August 20, 2022, alleged that Mrs Buhari paid some social media influencers ahead of the 2015 election so they help her husband defeat Jonathan.

Olunloyo claimed that the first lady gave the sum of N10 million Naira each to the unnumbered influencers.

She claimed that Omojuwa (Naija News not sure if she meant Japheth Joshua Omojuwa) was one of the influencers paid and hosted by Mrs Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa in 2015.

In the Twitter post, Olunloyo said: “Mrs Aisha Buhari gave N10M each to social media influencers who helped her husband win the elections in 2015. A gesture to thank them for getting rid of GEJ. Omojuwa was one of them. She held a reception in Aso Rock for them.”

Chioma Ifemeludike Slams Kemi Olunloyo Over Post On Ada Ameh 

Nollywood actress Chioma Ifemeludike has berated Olunloyo over her reaction to the death of her colleague Ada Ameh.

Olunloyo had in an Instagram post, revisited her fight with Ada Ameh, reiterating how the actress threatened her and urged her fans to beat her up.

She wrote: “AdaAmeh DEATH: I learned Ada was dining yesterday with friends and suddenly slumped and collapsed. She threatened me and urged her fans to beat me for exposing the truth about the #SylvesterOromoni case in December 2021. She called me crazy, mad and mentally derailed. I’m non of that. I was simply doing my job as a journalist defending media freedom.

“Many of the fans sent me 900 terrorizing iMessages and 454 WhatsApp messages after Adetoun Onajobi posted my former phone number and old apartment online. Toun started the beating threats and Tacha Akide even tweeted that anyone going to beat an investigative journalists should film it. My children 35, 31 and 21 in America were also terrorized.

“They feared for my life. Even the Landlord and other tenants were worried. I kept every single message. Tonto Dikeh also did the same with every celebrity threatening an investigative journalist for not liking the outcomes of my work. They could have just unfollowed me. Today I no longer practice journalism in Nigeria. I am a Wellness & Drug abuse education and prevention expert and Ada is no longer here. Live a good life, never take anyone for face value.

Replying to the post, Ifemeludike slammed the journalist for revisiting her issues with the deceased.

She wrote: “A SOCIETY THAT ALLOWS THIEVES BECOME LEADERS AND MAD WOMEN ROAM THE STREETS…. DEAR MENTALLY DERANGED JOURNALIST, YOU CAN NEVER BE QUARTER OF WHAT LATE ADA AMEH WAS, HER LEGACY LIVES AND YOUR BITTERNESS MULTIPLES… IT’S BETTER TO EXIST THIS EVIL WORLD WITH HONOUR THEN BE A LIVING CURSED CORPSE WITHOUT DIRECTION OR FOCUS. ONYE UCHU! TUFIAKWA!”
