2023: Satguru Maharaj Ji Backs APC Muslim-Muslim Ticket

The founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has backed the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket fielded by the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 elections.

Naija News reports that the presidential ambition of the National Leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, has been facing challenges following his decision to pick the former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

Some Nigerians and Christian groups are not pleased with the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling party.

In a chat with reporters on Tuesday, Maharaj Ji stated that those criticising the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling party are just being mischievous and hypocritical, asking them to desist from it.

The cleric asserted that religion is not the requirement for performance in office, saying that competence and capability should be the criteria to be considered.

Maharaj Ji said most of the problems confronting the country as a nation are caused by corrupt leaders, adding that Nigeria should have developed more than the level it is right now.

He said Nigerians have all it takes to make the country great, prosperous, and technologically advanced but some things need to be addressed.

The cleric said Nigerians have every cause to be anxious in the face of incessant crimes, urging Nigerians not to lose hope in the country despite the challenges facing it.
