2023 Presidency: Nigerians React As Tinubu Set To Meet Obasanjo

Reactions have trailed the planned meeting between the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Naija News earlier reported that the former Governor of Lagos State would meet with Obasanjo in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital this afternoon.

The meeting between Tinubu and Obasanjo is part of the move of the APC National Leader to actualise his presidential ambition in 2023.

The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Kunle Somorin, revealed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday morning.

According to Somorin, the APC presidential candidate after meeting Obasanjo would address the people of the state at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta.

The statement reads, “Learnt that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be visiting Abeokuta, Ogun State today, Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

“He’s scheduled to visit President Olusegun Obasanjo at 10.00 am and address the people at the MKO Abiola Int’l Stadium immediately after.”

However, some Nigerians have taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to express their opinion on the scheduled meeting between the two leaders.
