Tinubu Easiest Presidential Candidate To Sell, Would Continue Buhari’s Work – Keyamo

Keyamo Speaks On Resigning As Minister To Focus On APC Campaign Spokesperson Job

The Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo has averred that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is the easiest candidate to sell to Nigerians.

Keyamo, who is the Media Director, Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council, stated this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Friday.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated that Tinubu is the best candidate to become president of Nigeria based on his antecedents.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu is one of the easiest candidates to sell. Nobody comes close to Tinubu’s record when it comes to public service in the last 23 years,” Keyamo said.

Economy & Security

He however defended the record of the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government on security and economy.

The Minister stated that the APC presidential candidate will continue some of those records.

“There are records that this government has created that we are very proud of. I will not run away from them. This Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has uncanny ability to improve whatever he meets in the office,” he added.

Atiku vs Peter Obi

Keyamo also submitted that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar does not have enough leadership experience to be the next President of Nigeria.

Keyamo said the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has more experience in making the final call in government, which makes him a better candidate Atiku.

He said Atiku though is the major contender against Tinubu, has not shown the capacity to make final decisions.

The lawyer argued that Atiku has only been the Vice President but the Vice President doesn’t have the final say in making decisions in government while both Obi and Tinubu are former Governors who have occupied positions where they can make final decisions.
