The immediate past Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Audu Sule Katagum, has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Naija News reports that some former commissioners and aides of the former Governor of the state, Abubakar Mohammed, also defected to the PDP.

Receiving the defectors at the Government House, Bauchi on Thursday, Governor Bala Mohammed applauded them for joining the ruling party in the state.

Mohammed also expressed gratitude to them for finding it worthy to dump their former party and join the ruling party in the state.

He expressed confidence that their coming will add value to the successful victory of the party in the next year’s general elections in the state.

We are grateful to Almighty Allah for this day which is historic to us, and it means a lot to us as PDP party in Bauchi state,” he said.
