2023: Dino Melaye Reacts As Atiku Appoints Him As Campaign Spokesman

The former lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district, Dino Melaye has reacted to his recent appointment as the campaign spokesman for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

Melaye in his reaction appreciated Atiku for appointing him as his spokesperson and that of the PDP presidential campaign.

The former legislator described the former vice president as the next president of Nigeria in his appreciation message.

Melaye promised not to let Atiku or the main opposition party down in the 2023 general elections.

The PDP chieftain also took out time to appreciate the vice presidential candidate of the party, Ifeanyi Okowa.

Naija News had earlier reported that Atiku in a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media, Paul Ibe in Abuja announced the appointment.

This online newspaper reports that Dino Melaye’s appointment is with immediate effect.

Melaye while reacting to the appointment in a post on his Twitter account wrote, “I  thank Atiku Abubakar for appointing me as his Spokesperson and that of the PDP presidential campaign of PDP in a letter personally written by the next president of Nigeria.

“Thank you, sir and l will not let you or our great party down. God bless you sir and VP Okowa. Let’s go.”
