2023: ‘I Don’t Want Atiku And Tinubu To Fail’ – Actor Okey Bakassi Gives Reasons For His Presidential Choice

Nigerian comedian cum actor, Okey Bakassi has given reasons for supporting the Labour Party (LP), presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

In a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, the comedian said he wants the country to succeed and will support the former Governor of Anambra State, to fix it.

Giving reasons for not supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, the comedian said he does not want them to fail.

The actor added, that he is also supporting Obi, to avoid Tinubu going to London for medical treatment and Atiku living in Dubai.

He tweeted: “I don’t want Atiku & Tinubu to fail. I just want Nigeria to succeed. I’ll support and vote for @PeterObi to fix Nigeria, so in their very old age, Buhari & Tinubu won’t be going to London for medical treatment and Atiku won’t live in Dubai”.

Peter Obi Lack Experience To Lead Nigeria – Okowa

Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, in a recent interview with BBC pidgin, watered down the administrative experience of  Peter Obi, saying he can’t lead Nigeria at the moment.

Okowa who is the vice presidential candidate of PDP said Obi’s only experience as a former Governor in Anambra State is not enough to lead Nigeria.

He stressed that leading a country like Nigeria is hard and hence someone like Obi needed more to occupy the seat of the presidency.
