Hanifa’s Father Reacts As Court Sentence Daughter’s Killer To Death

The father of 5-year-old Hanifa Abubakar, Abubakar Abdulsalam on Thursday reacted as the Kano State High Court sentenced his daughter’s killer, Abdulmalik Tanko to death by hanging.

Abdulsalam expressed delight that his daughter got justice after her school proprietor kidnapped and murdered her.

He appreciated everyone for their support and for making sure that justice was served.

Abdulsalam said, “I’m happy today that Hanifa, my daughter, has gotten justice.

“We appreciate everyone’s effort and that justice has been well served,” according to Vanguard.

Recall that the Proprietor of Nobel Kids Academy and North West Preparatory School, Tanko, who masterminded the kidnap and killing of Hanifa on Thursday was sentenced to death by hanging.

The court also sentenced an accomplice of Tanko, Hashimu Ishyaku to death by hanging.

The judge, Usman Na’abba while passing the judgment sentenced Fatima Musa to two years imprisonment.

The judge discharged the third defendant, Fatima Jibrin, for abetting, while he convicted her to two years imprisonment (1 year each for conspiracy and attempting to kidnap the deceased).

Tanko, the proprietor of the school Hanifa attended had confessed in January 2022, while being paraded by police that he killed the girl with rat poison and buried her in a shallow grave.
