2023: Wike Reveals Identity Of PDP Leader That Met With Him In Spain

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Friday revealed the identity of a leader in the Peoples Democratic Party that met with him while on vacation in Spain.

Wike mentioned the name of the PDP leader while addressing newsmen at Port Harcourt International Airport amid the crisis rocking the party.

The Rivers State Governor stated that the former president of the Senate, Bukola Saraki met with him in Spain over his grievances.

He, however, noted that Saraki was not sent by the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, but came in his personal capacity.

Wike speaking on the main opposition party setting up a reconciliation committee, claimed that Atiku has not sent any delegate to meet with him.

He challenged anyone who was sent by the PDP presidential candidate to meet with him In the crisis in the party to identify themselves.

Governor Wike further stated that the idea of setting up a committee was only being seen in the media.

The Rivers State Governor has been silent on the issue of the PDP after losing the presidential ticket of the party to the former vice president, Atiku.

The issue became worse when Atiku announced the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
