Reactions As BBNaija Housemate, Eloswag Stylishly Campaign For Peter Obi On Live TV

A housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 7 reality show, Eloswag caused stirs on Thursday after he was spotted wearing a hoodie with the inscription ‘be obedient and useful.’

Naija News reports that Eloswag won the first Head of House game for the Level Up edition of the BBNaija show which premiered last Saturday and Sunday.

The 27-year-old, who was among the first twelve housemates introduced into the Biggie house, belonged to House Level 1.

Eloswag, whose birthname is Eloka Nwamu, sparked a barrage of reactions today on social media after viewers spotted him in the cloth which has an inscription that clearly depicts the popular campaign slang used by supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The inscription seen on the backside of Eloswag’s hoodie read: “Be Obedient and Useful”.

Naija News understands that the above was coined from the ‘Obidient and Yusful’ slogan which followers of Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, have been using to address their supporters and drive their campaign on the microblogging platform, Twitter.

Eloswag’s ‘harmless’ wear has since generated a large number of reactions on Twitter as netizens shared their opinions.

Another netizen [@sommy_Love26] tweeted: “Greater things awaits Eloswag. I love that he tried though biggie made him remove it immediately he noticed the guy was making a statement with his hoodies. Obidients we be strong head people.”

Kelechi Nwoha [@kcien3] said: “Not a BBNaija fan, follower nor viewer but I will be voting at every eviction to keep this man in the house for this gesture. I don’t see him as Eloswag but ‘Elobedient’. My voting starts with him.”
