The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has appointed the former Governor of Edo State, Oserheimen Osunbor, as the head of a 65-man campaign think tank.
Naija News reports that the Director General of the Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Adebayo Shittu, made this known on Wednesday during the inauguration of the think thank in Abuja.
The former Minister of Communications said Osunbor would be assisted by two serving vice-chancellors, retired military generals and others.
Shittu said that the think tank will formulate the expectations of Nigerians from the Tinubu presidency into a workable action plan if the former Lagos State Governor emerge as the next President in 2023.
The former minister said that the action plan would seek to return to Nigerians a realistic hope that guarantees progressive change and transformative governance.
He expressed hope that once the right policies are evolved and implemented, the youths and all Nigerians would ensure and be assured of a peaceful, secure, collaborative progressive and prosperous Nigeria.
Shittu said: “The mandate of the team was to seek from Nigerians their expectations from the Tinubu presidency when it resumes in government.
“The team would then formulate these yearnings and expectations into a workable and implementable action plan seeking to return to Nigerians a realistic hope that guarantees progressive change and transformative governance.
“We trust that once the right policies are evolved and implemented, the restive youths in particular and all Nigerians, in general, would ensure and be assured of a peaceful, secure, collaborative progressive and prosperous Nigeria.”
