The PUNCH: The All Progressives Congress and its allied groups on Sunday said the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, would trounce his Peoples Democratic Party’s counterpart, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, in any debate.


The Guardian: For consumers optimistic of lower diesel prices or drop in inflation rate anytime soon, they may be disappointed, as oil price outlook remains volatile, alongside challenges of inflation, hiked interest rates, supply constraints and expected cold winter.


The Nation: Terrorists have threatened to abduct President Muhammadu Buhari and Kaduna Governor Nasir el-Rufai. The terrorists group is suspected to be behind the abduction of passengers in a Kaduna-bound train in March


Daily Trust: The video released at the weekend showing terrorists beating up helpless passengers abducted from the Abuja-Kaduna AK9 train service on March 28, 2022, was triggered by anger over the blockade of a ransom in exchange for some of the captives.


Daily Trust: Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has advised Nigerians in states inluding Taraba and some parts of the South West areas to prepare for impending flooding. Director General of NiMet, Prof. Mansur Matazu, who spoke said Nigerians should prepare for flooding in some parts of the country adding that the climate change has affected the activities across the world.
