Ganduje Pays Condolence Visit, Gives N3.8m To Families Of 19 Deceased Victims Of Auto Crash

The Kano state government has given a sum of N3.8 million to the families of the 19 people who were involved in a ghastly auto crash between Zaria-Kano expressway, at Tusguri village of Sanda ward, in Bunkure local government.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje who gave out the money said that N200,000 is for each of the families of the victims, who were burnt down to death, on their way coming back from Ilorin.

He said that ” we received the death with shock and we pray that may Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala forgive all their wrongdoings and reward their good deeds with Jannah.”

This was contained in a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State, Comrade Abba Anwar, a copy made available on Sunday to pressmen in Kano.

Ganduje also directed the Chairman of the local government to write to the state government and request the construction of a primary school in the area which he promised to expedite action.

According to him “to also help the people of the area in dry season farming, “…I am assuring you that, there is federal government intervention for dry season farming, this town will be included in the programme.”
