Man Found Dead With Calabash, Money And White Clothing Material In Suleja Hotel

A man has been found dead inside a hotel room in Angwan Gwari Kwamba in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State.

The unfortunate incident occurred at Unique Hotel opposite Royal Academy, Suleja.

Sharing details of the incident with Daily Trust, the manager of the hotel, Adeniyi Durojaiye said that the man checked in on July 15 and instructed that he was not to be disturbed.

However, after two days an offensive odor was detected from his room and the police were alerted.

Durojaiye said when policemen broke into the room, the corpse was seen with a calabash with some money and a white clothing material inside.

In another news, a 23-year-old suspect, Godspower Adegheji has machete his girlfriend, Gift Oloku, to death over an iPhone at Etevie quarters in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased is said to be a 22-year-old female student of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro.

The State Police Spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, in a statement released on Sunday said the suspect murdered his girlfriend after she mistakenly broke his iPhone while they were fighting. Read more
