See More Pictures And Video Of ‘Unknown Bishops’ And ‘Pastors’ At Unveiling Of Shettima As Tinubu’s Running Mate

More pictures of the ‘unknown bishops’ and ‘pastors’ said to have been ‘hired’ to make an appearance at the unveiling of Senator Kashim Shettima as the running mate to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday have emerged online.

The clergymen were seen making their way to the venue while one of the pastors tried to cover his face with his bag in the video seen by Naija News correspondent.

It will be recalled that despite the rejection, outcry and protest that have greeted the decision of the APC to field a Muslim-Muslim presidential candidate in 2023, Shettima was on Wednesday officially unveiled as Tinubu’s running mate.

Some ‘clergymen’ were sighted at the event who are said to have been hired by the Tinubu camp to present a picture of acceptance of the Muslim-Muslim ticket by the Christian community.

Meanwhile, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has disowned the Bishop seen as the unveiling venue in Abuja.

The Vice President of CAN (19 Northern States and Abuja) and its chairman in Kaduna State, Rev. Joseph John Hayab, likened the Bishops to desperados who went there for themselves.

John Hayab further said in a statement released that the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was free to “hire mechanics and other artisans and sew clerical garments for them”, that effort would only add to their many robes but would not change the need for fairness and justice.
