A video of allegedly destroyed shops of Igbo traders in Osogbo after Ademola Adeleke was declared winner of the Osun State Gubernatorial election yesterday has surfaced on social media.

This comes hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared Adeleke as the winner of the Osun governorship election.

Recall, Adeleke defeated the incumbent governor of the state and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Oyetola and thirteen other candidates in the July 16th election.

Adeleke won 17 local government areas in the state, while the candidate of the APC, Oyetola won the remaining 13 local government areas in the state.

The incumbent governor of the state who was defeated in the election, gathered 375,027 votes, while Adeleke polled 403,371 votes to win the election.

Hours after the declaration, shops located in Osogbo belonging to Igbo traders were allegedly destroyed because they voted Adeleke Into power in the state, according to the narrator.

The narrator further questioned if Igbos do not have the right to participate in elections due to the violence meted at them.

He, however, maintained that they were not partisan.
