The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress and incumbent governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola has reacted to the victory of Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 16th, July gubernatorial election.

Oyetola in his reaction said the leadership of the APC are still studying the outcome of the governorship election.

The Osun State Governor in a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan on Sunday said the APC would react after appraising the outcome of the election.

Oyetola called on his supporters in the state to remain calm and go about their businesses without hindrance.

He called on security operatives in the state to ensure the maintenance of law and order.

Recall Adeleke of the PDP gathered 403,371 votes to defeat Oyetola who polled 375,027 votes.

The Chief Returning Officer for INEC, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, declared Adeleke the winner after winning in 17 local government areas against Oyetola’s 13
