All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain Elisha Abbo has reacted to the loss of party in the just concluded Osun governorship election.

The Peoples Democratic Party Governorship candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke won the election and polled 403,371 votes. He was followed by the sitting governor of the state APC’s Adegboyega Oyetola who polled 375,927 votes.

Abbo, who is the current senator representing Adamawa North in the Nigerian Senate, mocked the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while reacting to the election result.

Recall that the Senator had resigned from Tinubu support group after he unveiled former Borno state governor Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

Abbo said a committee set up by the APC candidate strategised and concluded that Tinubu should not take a Muslim as running mate but he (Tinubu) threw away the report.

Showing his grievance once again with Tinubu, the senator took to Facebook after INEC announced the PDP as the winner of the election and wrote: “APC won 13 local government areas and PDP won 17 local government areas. PDP won with about 28,371 votes. Tinubu’s ancestral state is Osun. Pray for Tinubu.”
