The father of Nigerian singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido, Deji Adeleke was spotted exercising his civic rights today in the Osun State governorship election.

Naija News understands that the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ademola Adeleke is a sibling to Deji [Davido’s father].

Davido has been in Osun days ahead of the polls ongoing today.

The entertainer has been on the internet reporting cases of vote-buying and irregularities in the ongoing elections.

In his recent claims, the singer alleged that some supporters of the PDP were denied the privilege to vote at a polling unit in Ife.

Davido also shared a viral video where the alleged supporters were put under duress to vote for another party suspected to be APC.

Though he claimed in another post that electorates were rejecting money to sell their conscience.

However, voting has ended in some polling units and electorates are waiting to monitor the process till the end.

As of the time of filing this report, voting has ended at PU04, Elepo village, Bode-osi Ward 8, Olaoluwa Local Government Area and the voters opted to wait and witness the counting of the ballots.

Also, there was no activity happening at PU05, Ward 05, Ataoja, Osogbo Local Government Area at the same time. The last person in the queue has voted and others were waiting to also defend their votes.
