APC Wins Aregbesola’s Polling Unit

The Governor of Osun State and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Gboyega Oyetola has won in the polling unit of the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.

Oyetola won the polling unit on Saturday despite the absence of his predecessor in the state.

Naija News had earlier reported that Aregbosola a former governor in the state has travelled to Germany.

Oyetola on Saturday defeated the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ademola Adeleke in Ward 8, unit 1, Isare Ifofin, Ilesa East Local Government Area of the state.

The APC governorship candidate who is seeking reelection polled 164 votes while his closest rival, the candidate of the PDP, Adeleke gathered 134 votes.

In other news, the governorship candidate of PDP, Adeleke has won his polling unit.

Adeleke polled 218 votes in his polling unit on Saturday.

The state Governor, Oyetola polled 23 votes while Dr Akin Ogunbiyi of Accord Party had one vote.
