As is customary for most Nigerian artistes, Fridays are the days for new music to be dropped and they certainly have not failed to drop some fire tracks today. Last week we saw Burna Boy drop his third studio album, today, another album has been dropped, this time, a debut album, ‘Boy Alone’ by young Nigerian artiste, Omah Lay.

Omah Lay has been in the music industry for a while and has definitely climbed up the ranks.

Tracks like ‘Bad Influence,’ ‘Love Love,’ ‘My Baby,’ ‘Godly,’ and his most recent release, ‘Woman,’ has given him some name in the music industry and now he’s released his debut album.

He features Justin Bieber on a track, ‘Attention.’ ‘Boy Alone’ may become one for the books and records.

Today’s Good Music Friday also sees collaborations including ‘Kukere’ master Iyanya, featuring ‘Buga’ crooner Kizz Daniel and one of the best in the world of Afrobeats, Davido. The song is titled ‘LIKE’ and it’s definitely one fit for the ears.

Chike has teamed up with Flavour on a track, ‘HARD TO FIND’ and Fireboy features Asake on a song he has titled ‘BANDANA.’

Can never run out of good music when Nigerian artistes are involved can we?

Waje features fellow contemporary Tiwa Savage on ‘ALL DAY’ and Joeboy has released ‘SPIRITUAL GBEDU’ which, interestingly, is ‘A COLORS SHOW,’ an international live music platform which used to be one for the biggest stars and it is great to see the young ones getting featured on this.

Adekunle Gold drops one which he has dubbed ‘5 STAR’ and Bad Boy Timz deemed it fit to release another track after a while and he’s named this one ‘IZ GOING.’ Bad Boy Timz is known for his quick tempo tracks and this seems like one for the dance floor. For lovers of pop, Calvin Harris features Halsey, Pharell Williams and Justin Timberlake on a new track, ‘STAY WITH ME.’

This Good Music Friday looks promising and we advise every lover of good music to get their headphones and speakers ready. Seems like it’s going to be a blast.
