2023 Presidency: Sowore Lists Peter Obi’s ‘Godfathers’

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, on Thursday, listed the ‘godfathers’ of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The Sahara Reporters publisher, in a post on his Twitter account, claimed that the people that ruined Nigeria are the ones pushing for Obi in 2023.

Sowore stated that three former heads of state are supporting the former Governor of Anambra State.

He listed the three former heads of state as Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida, and Abdulsalam Abubakar.

Sowore further stated that the former National Security Adviser, Aliyu Gusau, and the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, Ango Abdullahi are also in support of Obi’s presidential ambition.

The AAC presidential candidate also prayed it would never happen that he has to reach out to these people to support his presidential ambition.

Sowore described the former heads of state and other names listed as criminals.

The presidential candidate, in a post on his Twitter account, wrote, “Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida, Aliyu Gusau, Abubakar Abdusalam, and Ango Abdullahi are Peter Obi’s ‘godfathers’ the people that ruined Nigeria are the ones fronting for him. May it never happen that we work with these criminals!”
