‘Sometimes I Was Paid Just ₦5,000 For Movie Roles’ – Actor Kenneth Aguba

Veteran Nollywood actor Kenneth Aguba has revealed how he suffered in the film industry.

This is coming a few weeks after the homeless actor was rescued by General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries Apostle Chibuzor from the street.

In a short video sighted online, Aguba said he acted in movies while in Jos but they refused to pay him.

According to Aguba, he was exploited in many instances and sometimes, he was paid five thousand Naira for movie roles but he’s thankful that God has changed his life.

He said: “They Just suffered me, they can’t pay me, I act in Jos, the Jos people carry my money say make I come Jos and collect my money.

“How can, how much I will spend on the way before I reach Jos. Na so day eat my money plenty, plenty, they no pay me well, sometime if day give me five thousand, I happy. They say they are paying me. I thank God, that he answer me for now, yes o, my father answer me.”

Nollywood stars Halima Abubakar and Yetunde Bakare who reacted to the post said the actor was saying the truth.
