Dino Mocks APC Over Muslim-Muslim Ticket
Former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye has mocked the All Progressives Congress (APC) over its decision to field a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidential elections.
It will be recalled that the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday in Daura, Katsina State, announced the choice of former Borno State Governor, Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
The announcement effectively confirmed the decision by the ruling party to field a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidential race despite a good section of Nigerians rejecting the idea.
It has also attracted a barrage of reactions from Nigerians both on social media and off social media.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Dino in a video shared mocked the ruling party over its presidential flag bearer’s choice of running mate.
He also added that the end of the party is nigh following the APC national leader’s decision to insist on the Muslim -Muslim ticket despite the outcry.
