Kwara: Abdulrazaq, Saraki ‘Reunite’ At Ilorin Eid Ground

The Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on Saturday surprised many as he shook the hands of former Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Ilorin Eid praying ground.

Abdulrazaq for the first time in four years went to Saraki and reached out to greet him.

The former Governor of Kwara State also reciprocated the greeting as they both exchanged warm greetings.

Abdulrazaq who arrived at the praying ground on Saturday went to sit at the section provided for him.

The Governor moments later went to the section provided for Saraki and they both shook hands.

The development stirred reaction from worshippers at the venue.

Abdulrazaq thereafter reached out to other leaders at the venue like former PDP National Chairman, Abubakar Kawu Baraje, an ally of Saraki.

Others at the eid praying ground included the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Moddibo Alfa Belgore.

Saraki and the Kwara State Governor have been having a running battle for a while.

The war got intense when the state government demolished the popular Ile Arugbo belonging to Saraki’s late father and Second Republic Senate Leader, Senator Olusola Saraki.
