Eid-el-Kabir – Gawuna Felicitates With Muslims

The Kano State Deputy Governor and APC Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna while felicitating with Muslims all over the State and across the globe on the celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir has urged the faithfuls to take cognisance of the virtues and significance of the festival and continue to exhibit obedience and total submission to the will of Allah (S.W.T).

He said that the Eid-el-Kabir period should be used as a time for sober reflection and prayers towards Allah (S.W.T) for the progress of Kano State.

According to him, the importance of unity, love, care, tolerance and peaceful coexistence among the people of the State and the country in general.

The Deputy Governor who is presently in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj exercise also congratulated the Muslim pilgrims performing the Hajj for a successful Arafat and other rites.

The statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy, Alhaji Hassan Musa Fagge, a copy made available on Saturday to pressmen in Kano, quoted the Deputy Governor urging the Muslims to continue praying for prevailing peace on the insecurity bedevilling the country.

Gawuna commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the peace, stability and security enjoyed in the State and also for the milestone achievements recorded in agriculture, education, infrastructure, health, youth and women empowerment.
