An aide to Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere alias ‘Odumeje’ has cleared the air on the demolition of clergyman’s Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry.

Recall that Naija News earlier reported that Odumeje was manhandled by Anambra state officials during the demolition of his church building.

The church building is reportedly sitting on a huge canal and obstructing waterways, prompting the government to order its removal as an illegal building.

However, in a video posted on Odumeje’s verified Instagram page, an aide to the cleric stated that the church was intact, adding that it was only the fence and security post that were affected by the demolition process.

A voice speaking in the video said, “The rumour is going viral that Odumeje’s church has been demolished. This is contrary to what happened. That is false.

“Odumeje’s church has not been demolished but the security house at the front of Odumeje’s church.

“The security house that is a little bit close to the drainage was demolished. As you can see, Odumeje’s church is still intact.”

The video also showed the part of the church that was demolished and the interiors which were still intact.
