Four Alleged Informants Arrested Days After Kuje Prison Break

The federal government has disclosed the bio-data and photos of sixty-four (64) terrorists who escaped from the Kuje Medium Correctional Center in Abuja.

This is as they have all been declared wanted, Naija News reports.

According to the information made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Abubakar Umar, the escapees are members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

He urged members of the public with useful information that can lead to the re-arrest of the fleeing inmates to contact the closest security agency.

It will be recalled that following Tuesday’s attack on the Kuje Prison facility by terrorists in which many inmates were set free and escaped, the Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi disclosed that all the terrorists held in the Kuje facility have escaped.

879 of the 994 inmates in custody had escaped including some high profile terrorists and criminals. Officials said 64 of the escapees are members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

The PRO added in an earlier statement that 443 of the escapees have been recaptured, bringing the total number of inmates in the facility to 551.
