Nigerians React As Terrorists Attack Kuje Prisons

Several reactions have trailed the attack on Kuje Medium Custodial Centre by terrorists in the Federal Capacity Territory (FCT).

Naija News earlier reported that a group of terrorists stormed the Medium Custodial Centre and bombed sections of the facility on Tuesday night.

According to Daily Sun, the heavily armed gunmen invaded the correctional centre around 10.30pm.

The gunmen who bombarded the facility and successfully operated for about one hour unhindered reportedly freed Boko Haram inmates at the correctional centre.

It was gathered that other inmates used the opportunity of the attack to escape from the Kuje Prison.

Following the attack, some netizens took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to express their views on the sad incident.

I worked in Kuje prison for more than 6 years and mostly on nights shifts where danger is on the high risks, I have withness so many attacks but you see this one this boys came prepared for us 😭.
