2023: Abdulmumin Jibrin Lists What Peter Obi Supporters Should Do

2023: Jibrin Reacts To Appointment As Kwankwaso's Campaign Spokesperson

A former member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has asked the supporters of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, to replicate their online campaign across the country.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Monday, Jibrin also asked the Obi supporters may have a chance in 2023 if they take their campaign offline.

The chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) also advised the “Obidients” to reduce their insults and share some of the achievements of the former Governor of Anambra State.

Jibrin, however, commended the supporters of the former Anambra Governor for a well-coordinated online campaign.

He wrote: “You have to give it to Obidients for a well-coordinated online campaign. If they could replicate a verifiable 1% of such a campaign offline, abuse less and share just a few achievements of PO viz Infrastructure, Education, health, housing and new cities etc, they may have a chance.

This development comes days after Jibrin advised the southeast to vote for Rabiu Kwankwaso while Peter Obi will be the running mate in the 2023 election.

Speaking on Channels Television, Jubrin said the safest route for the Igbo is an alliance with NNPP and a concrete agreement would be made that after Kwankwaso’s tenure, power will return to the southeast.

He said that since the demise of the former Nigerian vice president, Alex Ekweme, this is the first time that the southeast would have the clarity that it would be their turn for the presidency after a certain number of years.

The NNPP chieftain said the Labour Party does not owe any state in the country, adding that Obi being Kwankwaso’s running mater is the safest route for the southeast.
