Abia: Governor Ikpeazu Dragged Over Vacation To Turkey

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has been dragged on social media over his vacation to Turkey alongside his Rivers state counterpart, Nyesom Wike.

Naija News had reported that governor Wike had in a Twitter post on Tuesday revealed that the vacation was much needed for him at this time.

In some photos shared via his Twitter handle, Wike took pictures with Ikpeazu and some of his aides.

“Finally enjoying a much-needed vacation in Turkey with my brother Governor Okezie Ikpeazu,” Wike had tweeted.

Reacting to the photos, some Abia residents took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to condemn the governor for leaving the state unattended before travelling to Turkey.

While others described the Ikpeazu government as a failure, asking the governor to return from the trip and fix the challenges facing the state.
