Former Lagos Traffic Hawker Gives Update About His New Life

Ekuma Jeremiah, the Lagos State hawker seen in a viral video giving money to prisoners, has shared an update on his new life as a university student.

It would be recalled that Jeremiah was brought to limelight after an Instagram user named Ojo Emmanuel captured the moment  the water seller gave over 70 percent of his money to the prison inmates who were being transported in a Nigerian Correctional Service bus along Ajah area of Lagos state.

Impressed by the gesture, billionaire businessman Obi Cubana, while speaking in a Instagram live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, offered the young man a university scholarship and an employment, adding that he would mentor the young man.

Cubana had noted that the young man will have a place at any level in his organization.

Updating Nigerians about his new life, Jeremiah shared new photos of himself at school.

He added that he has been writing exams. He wrote; ”Long Time no see , been writing Exams”
