Adamu Has Resigned - APC Deputy National Organizing Secretary Confirms

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Adamu Abdullahi, on Wednesday meet with senators elected on the platform.

Naija News reports that the APC national chairman arrived at the National Assembly complex some minutes past 2 pm.

Adamu moved to the office of the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, for a brief meeting before the general meeting.

Lawan had during plenary read a letter signed by the Senate Deputy Majority leader, Ajayi Borofice, announcing the meeting will take place by 2 pm at the premises.

Adamu Abdullahi’s visit to the National Assembly may be connected to the recent defection of lawmakers from the APC to other parties.

Political parties like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the Labour Party have recently received senators from the APC.
