Nigerian billionaire Ned Nwoko who is married to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opined that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi cannot be president of Nigeria.
In an exclusive interview with BBC Igbo, Ned Nwoko claimed Peter Obi is a good man and has support from the youths who have been campaigning for him in recent times but Labour Party lacks the necessary structure to rule Nigeria.
Ned Nwoko said Peter Obi should not have left the Peoples Democratic Party, and he still hopes he would return to the party.
According to Ned Nwoko, Nigeria’s population is growing, and the Labour Party cannot tackle the country’s problems.
Ned Nwoko praised the PDP for holding an open primary election and claimed Atiku Abubakar is one of Nigeria’s most experienced leaders.
He advised Nigerians not to vote based on ethnicity or religion in the 2023 elections.
