Former Kaduna Central Lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to Sunday’s attack on churches in the Kajuru area of Kaduna State.

Taking to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, Sani in his reaction on Sunday evening, alleged that the agenda of the terrorists is to totally wipe out the inhabitants of the local government area.

It will be recalled as earlier reported by Naija News that gunmen terrorists attacked the St. Moses Catholic Church, Robuh, Ungwan Aku in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan further confirmed that Maranatha Baptist Church was also attacked.

Reports have it that three worshippers were killed during the attack, many others were injured and an unspecified number of people were kidnapped.

The assailants reportedly struck while the church was bringing its first mass to a close on Sunday.

In his reaction, Sani added that the frequency of attacks by the terrorists on residents of Kajuru is alarming and they must be stopped.

He wrote: “With the consistency of attacks, killings and kidnappings in Kajuru, Kaduna State, it’s apt to say that terrorists are out (to) wipe out the inhabitants of the local government; they must be stopped.”

The Kaduna attack is coming barely two weeks after gunmen opened fire on worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo local government area of Ondo State and murdered several members of the congregation.
