The Abuja campaign office used by President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general elections has been transferred to the 2023 Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Naija News reports that the House of Representatives member and leader of the Tinubu Support Group, Hon. James Faleke, made this known on Thursday.

Faleke disclosed that the donated office will become the Tinubu Campaign Headquarters, while other offices currently in existence will become annexes.

The lawmaker noted that the office was donated to the APC flag bearer several days after he was elected at the last week’s convention of the party.

In a statement by the spokesman of the Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Bayo Onanuga, Director, said the office which is located in the Central Area of Abuja is equipped with an ICT database, call centre and furnishings.

Onanuga said the Buhari Campaign Office was the second space donated to the Tinubu campaign after Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state donated his presidential campaign office to the former Lagos governor.

Meanwhile, a political activist and social commentator, Deji Adeyanju has submitted that Tinubu must tell the public about the source of his income.

He questioned the general submission that Tinubu made his money in the past as no one is able to categorically point to his business interests and sources of income.

Making reference to the bullion vans spotted at Tinubu’s Lagos residence on the eve of the 2019 presidential election, Adeyanju queried how the APC candidate can lay claim to so much wealth that it takes more than one bullion van to move his cash.

Naija News understands Adeyanju threw the challenge recently during an online interview programme — 90MinutesAfrica — which was hosted by Rudolf Okonkwo and Chido Onumah.

He added that the former Lagos State Governor has undisclosed health challenges just like President Muhammadu Buhari.
