A Nigerian actor and singer with the username @naughti_awol has promised to travel to Kano from Lagos to plead with Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party for an Obi/Kwankwaso ticket.

This comes after several reports alleged that the NNPP and LP are in talks over the possibility of merging ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Riding on the tide, Awol, a supporter of the former Anambra state governor and 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, disclosed that he will make the trip to Kano to stand at Kwankwaso’s gate and plead with him about the yearnings of the Nigerian youths until he accepts the deal.

Although, he attached a condition of getting over a thousand reweets to embark on the quest, which have been met by desperate youths clamoring for change.

He wrote; “Is Kwankwaso even aware of our pleas. I want to travel from Lagos to Kano tomorrow and knock on Kwankwaso gate to tell him the yearnings of the Nigerian youths and to accept this deal for the sake of Nigerians.”

The post drew a lot of reactions, with a particular user dissuading him from embarking on such journey as the roads are unsafe and dangerous.

A concerned Twitter user wrote; ”One Mark Ilega wLet me advise you to stay in your house . Don’t forget that the roads are not safe . If your money no reach to enter plane bros commot body.”
