Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministries has warned Nigerians against mocking some presidential candidates over their health status.

Naija News reports that Suleman made this known via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday following concerns over the health status of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Some supporters of presidential candidates of the opposition parties have continued to insult and mock the former Governor of Lagos State over his health issues.

Reacting, Suleman asked Nigerians mocking some of the presidential candidates with health challenges to desist from such behaviour, noting that sound health is of the essence in leadership.

He advised the supporters of presidential candidates to desist from unguarded and uncouth utterances, adding that such actions are not the best tool for marketing their preferred candidates.

“In as much as sound health is of the essence in leadership, I still maintain that ‘mocking’ people with their health status way too low. Good health is from God. Unguarded and uncouth utterances aren’t the best tool in marketing your preferred candidate. Let’s be guided!” he wrote.

Meanwhile, the APC Presidential candidate has said that members of the ruling party have settled their quarrels and internal issues.

Tinubu stated this in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday at a mega rally held to canvass votes for the APC governorship candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, ahead of Saturday’s election in the state.

He stated that the ruling party has settled its differences and is now united to achieve victory in the Ekiti governorship election and retain power at the centre in 2023.
