The former Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to reports that the Ekiti State chapter of the Labour Party has collapsed its structure into the All Progressives Congress.
Ahmad called on the Labour Party to collapse its national structure ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
The presidential candidate of the party is former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.
He claimed that there are reports that LP in Ekiti has promised to work with the governorship candidate of the APC, Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the governorship election in the state.
The people of Ekiti State are expected to vote for their favourite governorship candidate next week Saturday.

The former presidential aide in a post on his Twitter account wrote, “Just read that the Labour Party has collapsed its Ekiti State structure into the APC with a promised to work assiduously for the victory of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in next week’s guber election.
“That’s a GOOD THING TO DO as we await to see the national structure also follow suit.”
