2023 Presidency: Peter Obi Returns To Nigeria From Egypt [Video]

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has departed Nigeria for Egypt for a three-day working visit.

Naija News reports that the former Governor of Anambra State made this known in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

The LP Presidential candidate disclosed that the visit to Egypt is part of his detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria.

While in the North-Eastern African country, Obi said he is expected to understudy the country’s power, education, planning and finance sectors.

“I just departed for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria.

“In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, some supporters of the former Anambra state governor booed a man who came with a flag of the People Democratic Progress (PDP) at the Independent National Electoral Commission Office, Garki, Abuja, until he walked away.

The video that surfaced online captured the moment the crowd waiting to register their Permanent Voter’s Card, PVC, ahead of the 2023 general elections chanted Obi at the man holding a PDP flag at the INEC office.

The yet-to-be-identified man walked away when the chants became louder and clearer.
