Reactions As Abiola Family Slams David Hundeyin Over Expose On MKO

The family of the late Chief MKO Abiola has declared the late politician and business mogul as the richest man in the world.

Speaking on Sunday through the head of the family, Murtala Abiola, the family declared that he still has money in the world bank.

Naija News reports the submission was made while speaking to newsmen at the family compound in Gbagura, Abeokuta, Ogun State during this year’s annual prayer held for the presumed winner of the annulled 1993 presidential election.

The head of the family added that the late Abiola is a special breed and it may take another one hundred years to come by a person like him again as such people are not common.

“I have been saying it, before we can get the type of MKO Abiola again, maybe another 100 years. He was a special breed, people like him are not easy to come by.

“Many years after his death, he is still the richest (man) in the whole world because we still have his money in the World Bank. So, MKO Abiola was a special breed and we were lucky as a family to have had him as one of us. We’re still enjoying the privileged today.”

Naija News recalls President Muhammadu Buhari in June 2018 declared June 12 as Nigeria’s Democracy Day, instead of May 29.

The step was taken in honour of the late Chief MKO Abiola, the presumed winner of the 1993 presidential election in Nigeria.
