EFCC Nabs 140 Suspected Yahoo Boys In Ikorodu, Recover Exotic Cars

 

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Thursday arrested 140 suspected Yahoo boys in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

Naija News reports that the anti-graft agency made this known in a  statement on social media where they disclosed that the suspects were arrested in separate sting operations at popular hotels in Ikorodu, Lagos State following intelligence intel on their involvement in internet-related fraud.

However, four of the suspects were released as no incriminating item was found on them.

Amongst the items recovered from the suspects include exotic cars, electronic devices, laptop computers and mobile phones.

The agency, according to the statement, gave the age range of the suspect to be from 16-42 years. Some of the suspects are teenagers.
