Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has reacted to the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress in the 2023 general election.

In the just concluded APC presidential primary, Bola Tinubu emerged victoriously with a wide margin defeating Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Tunde Bakare and other presidential aspirants.

Reno Omokri in a post shared on Instagram said with Tinubu’s win, Atiku Abubakar has started writing his inauguration speech because nothing will stop him from winning the 2023 election.

Reno Omokri opined that with Kwankwaso’s entry into the presidential race, the northern votes would be split between himself, Atiku and Tinubu.

According to Reno Omokri, APC has fallen into the trap of the People’s Democratic party by picking Tinubu who is an extremely flawed candidate.

He wrote: “As far as I am concerned, HE Atiku should start writing his inauguration speech. As long as God spares his life, I do not see anything stopping him from winning the 2023 election. I spent time and SERIOUS money to campaign for Tinubu, because we knew Osinbajo would be harder to defeat”

“Because of Kwankwaso’s entry into the Presidential race, Northern votes would be split between HE Atiku and Kwankwaso. It is Southern votes that will determine the 2023 election. The APC just handed us a gift by electing ‘shaky shaky daddy’, a candidate that is NOT popular outside the SW. Those of you who thought I was campaigning for Tinubu did not know the strategy. I am not a fool. I could kiss the APC delegates for joy”

“Now that the APC have fallen into our trap and picked Tinubu, Nigerians should wait and see. Tinubu is an extremely flawed candidate. But that is not even the challenge. Who will be his vice? A Northern Christian won’t get Northern votes, and he can’t survive a Muslim-Muslim ticket”
