APC Presidential Primary Election Results Emerge (See Breakdown Of Votes)

The collation of results of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential primary election is ongoing at Eagle Square in Abuja.

After the sorting of 17 out of 40 polling boxes, former Governor of Lagos State and presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu now has 1069 votes as of the time of filing this report.

Naija News gathered that Rotimi Amaechi, the former Transport Minister is second with 188 votes, while Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is a distant third with 133 votes.

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan occupies the 4th spot with 53 votes, while Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has so far garnered 25 votes. Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has 10 votes and Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River polled nine votes.

With about 2303 delegates accredited, Tinubu requires just 300 votes to win the primary.
