APC Primaries: ‘What We Expect From Aspirants Who Lost Out’
A former governor of Zamfara state and an All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant, Ahmad Yarima has said that all aspirants who fail to emerge as the party’s flag bearer are expected to take the defeat in good faith.
The former governor said this while addressing newsmen on Tuesday at the Eagle Square venue of the APC Special National Convention.
He promised to accept whoever emerged as the party flag bearer while also maintaining that it is only Allah that can give power to an individual.
He said: “I hope that I’ll be the winner, but whatever happens, it is the will of Allah.
“Nobody else can give power to individuals except Allah.
“So, whatever happens, it’s His will and I will accept it.
“By the grace of God, a good candidate will emerge for APC, even if it’s not me.
“‘As soon as the election is done, an individual will emerge. All aspirants who failed to make it are expected to be good losers.”
