Uju Ken-Ohanenye, the only female presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

She announced her decision to step down at the APC Special convention holding at the Eagles Square.

Naija News reports that Nicholas Felix, who is a US based pentecostal preacher, had announced his decision to step down at the ongoing presidential primaries for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo

His decision to step down makes him the first aspirant to drop his ambition for Osinbajo.

Earlier, Godswill Akpabio, Ibikunle Amosun, Kayode Fayemi, Dimeji Bankole, Ajayi Borroffice and Governor Abubakar Badaru had withdrawn from the race for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

So far, seven aspirants have stepped down for Tinubu while only one has stepped down for Osinbajo.

Ogbonnaya Onu, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Sani Yerima, Rotimi Amaechi, Yahaya Bello and Rochas Okorocha have however refused to step down for any aspirant.

This online newspaper reports that after aspirant finish their speeches, delegates will begin to vote for who emerges the party’s flagbearer.
