APC Primaries: Amaechi Booed By Lagos Delegates

Former minister of transportation and one of the presidential aspirants, Rotimi Amaechi has been booed as he made his way into the venue by delegates from Lagos State at the ongoing National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Naija News reports that the former minister, Amaechi, who is one of the frontline aspirants was booed by Lagos delegates as he made his way into the convention centre with shouts of “Asiwaju! Asiwaju! Asiwaju!” renting the air.

About 2,340 delegates are expected to vote at the convention that is yet to kick off as at 7pm, day two of the convention.

Meanwhile, delegates from Lagos State on Tuesday evening demonstrated their loyalty lies with the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the race for the party’s presidential ticket.

They demonstrated this in their response to Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello who upon arrival at the venue of the scheduled primaries, greeted the delegates as he passed in front of their stand.
