Osinachi’s Husband Reveals ‘Cause’ Of Her Death, Denies Hitting Her

Peter Nwachukwu, the husband of late popular gospel singer, Osinachi on Friday revealed the ’cause’ of her death.

According to Nwachukwu, his wife who is known for the popular gospel song ‘Ekwueme’ died of lung cancer.

The singer’s husband while speaking at a High Court in Abuja, said he never hit his wife before her death.

He said, “Let me tell the whole world, I have suffered a lot. I have been abandoned. What killed my wife was cancer of the lungs, I didn’t hit my wife.

“Cancer of the lungs killed my wife, Osinachi Nwachukwu, so I’m suffering for what I do not know.”

Meanwhile, Nwachukwu was arraigned before the Federal Capital Territory High Court on Friday.

The court adjourned the trial of Peter Nwachukwu who was arraigned on 23 count charges bordering on domestic violence and homicide to the June 16 and 17 trial.

Justice N.K. Nwosu-Iheme, on Friday also ordered that he be remanded at the Kuje Correctional Facility.

Nwachukwu on Friday pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him.
