A video of a young man, who is yet to be identified, attempting to plunge to his death on Wednesday morning from the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge has caused a stir.

Naija News reports that the patrol officers of the Lekki Concession Centre and other kind-hearted bystanders stopped the young man, who was already on the edge of the bridge, from jumping off.

In the viral video, the patrol officers were seen cheering the teary-man with powerful motivation before handing him over to law enforcement officials.

Reasons for his attempted suicide as at the time of filing this report remain unknown.

Nigerians on social media have, however, commended the LCC patrol officers for quickly responding to the emergency call and saving the man’s life.
